In currency trading the Asian session today (03-09), seen the Yen has strengthened slightly against the U.S. Dollar. Pair EUR / JPY is currently engaged in the range of 84.22.
Until now, this looks Yen still not managed to weaken significantly. Intervention from BoJ is not expected to affect much of the yen without the same commitment from the U.S. and Europe, which are both questionable to support these actions because each also wants to increase its export performance.
