In currency trading the Asian session today (30-08), the Yen looks slightly weaker against the U.S. Dollar. Pair EUR / JPY is currently engaged in the range of 85.41.
BoJ (Bank of Japan) finally takes steps to prevent the strengthening yen threatens Japan’s economic recovery, namely through the expansion of bank lending program amounted to 10 trillion yen, a total of 30 trillion yen. In addition, the BoJ has this morning decided not to change interest rates at 0.10% level.
